Day 12. Bad parents return
We come back to find a grumpy bunny but surprisingly tidy carpet. What gives? After much guilt and fear we return to find him in disapproving bunny mode. Secretly though he is pleased to see us and I think scared that we might go away again. He follows our every move, one eye on us as he scoffs down the food we give him. The weird thing is, usually he kicks all his chippings out of the cage when we are with him but the carpet is clear. Has he been simply sitting whilst we were away or is the mess just for us? Is he an exhibitionist bun? We let him have another supervised run and it’s the same again, a honk and a thump lets us know he isn’t happy. What are we doing wrong? The need for a run becomes even greater, he needs more exercise but he is getting annoyed with not being let out everywhere.
