Rabbit (Collins Famliy Pet Guides)

This is an ace little book that helps you get to grips with all aspects of Bun, from their origins in Spain some 2000 years ago to the best methods of bunny transportation from pet shop to home. The text couldn't be more straightforward and the 'did you know?' boxes add just that little bit extra. Who doesn't enjoy a little trivia? For instance, did you know that a 'rabbit sucker' was a spendthrift or pawnbroker?
The illustrated breeds pages give a real feel for just how many different flavours of Bun are available and give advice on which are the best suited breeds to owners needs. We bought the book following BC's less than successful sojourn at a well recommended holiday home from whence he returned with a leg wound and scratched nose. The Hutch may have been heated but we didn't expect to get back a battered bun. But i digress, the book gave very helpful advice on rabbit wound management and what to look out for if you think you rabbit is sickening for something. All in all this book is another must have if you have any questions that need answering.
